I contracted two life-threatening infections, MRSA and ESBL. My heart stopped twice, and I spent 1.5 months hospitalized followed by 4 months of bed rest. During that time, I underwent 14 surgeries to remove the infection in various locations:
Doctors initially believed I wouldn't survive. However, a turning point came the night I moved to a new room – my temperature, which had been dangerously high (45°C or higher), finally returned to normal. This shift gave me a fighting chance. Over the next few weeks, I progressed from critical care to a regular bed and eventually went home.
Learning to walk again after the extensive surgeries was incredibly painful. The procedures also destroyed the bone marrow in my right hip joint. As a result, I needed a hip fusion on Star Wars Day (May 4th) in 2021. This involved implanting a metal rod, one plate, six small rods (8cm long), and five large rods (18cm long).
Unfortunately, walking became even more challenging after the fusion. My right leg movement required using different muscles due to the limited mobility (pelvic movement instead of leg flexion). This took a significant amount of time to adjust to. Additionally, the fusion limited my ability to bend over, tie my shoes, and cross my legs.
The initial hip fusion wasn't successful. The metal rods were causing microfractures, pulling my hip apart instead of holding it together. Therefore, on October 25th, 2022, I underwent a second hip fusion surgery. This involved removing all the previous rods and plates and replacing them with a new set. Currently, I have eight small rods, two plates, and six large rods, totaling 14 metal rods in my hip.
I've had eczema since birth, which caused me literally hundreds of hospital trips. I could not sleep or think. There was too much pain and inches. If I did scratch it would make it more painful and worsen the wound. Open wounds allowed the MRSA and ESBL infections to get into my body. Thankfully, after receiving special permission to try a new, unreleased medication (having exhausted all other options), my eczema has improved considerably.
The repeated setbacks from unsuccessful surgeries have understandably caused depression. It's frustrating to go through extensive procedures only to find out they haven't worked, leaving me back at square one. One of the ways that I coped with this, was unfortunately eating. Since I was not able to move, and I was sad, I ate a lot.
The infection damaged my brain, contributing to short-term memory loss. Additionally, the infection ravaged my nervous system, leading to a loss of sensation in some areas. I can't feel things like stubbing my toe or getting cut, but I can still experience pain in my head and stomach.
A separate incident caused a partial loss of smell. While roller skating, I fell and hit my nose, requiring surgery. This has limited my ability to smell to only very strong scents.

One mettle instead into my right arm and put back my shattered arm like a jigsaw puzzle.
Removed the metal rod from the arm.
They grew back. Removed due to not being able to breathe correctly.
Removed due to not being able to breathe correctly.
Used to be a REALLY good roller scatter, then in a race/tournament fell nose first, it indented into my head, I passed out due to loss of blood then had surgery to make it look better.
Broke open my head, it had to be super glued back together. Since I was young, I was moving around too much so they needed to put me down to do so.
Just a normal break
Used to go on the trampoline A LOT, I did a double backflip then landed on my arm, the bone shattered, and bone was sticking out too.
Used to be a REALLY good roller scatter, then in a race/tournament fell nose first, it indented into my head, I also passed out due to loss of blood.
While making a smoothie at home I dropped the knife part of the blender and it fell on my foot. At that time my dad was on a work call, and I was told not to go into him, after that I called my Mum, but she was out and not answering. So, I weighed 15m for him to finish (While pouring out blood everywhere – Dad said it was like a saw movie) I passed out on the chair waiting for him due to loss of blood – Since the blender hit an artery and a lot of nerves. Dad put me into the car and took me to the hospital. I woke up after getting enough blood and had it stuck back together.
Doing my cable management, I used my Leatherman to cut a cable tie, I did it but then I also cut fair enough into my left thumb to see the bone. I then got it stitched up.
Backstory: I was 6 and wanted pizza, so for some reason I put my hungry caterpillar plushie into the microwave. It then burnt down half of the kitchen. Later on, that same day the delivery man for the pizza came, Me with my new long pajama pants was running on the tiled floor, then slipped and my head hit the side of a wall cracking the skull and opening the skin so you can see the skull. While going to the hospital I was saying “I’m sorry head” Once I got fixed and went home, I had my pizza! (Long story short burn down your house and break open your head and you will get pizza)
idk how many
tore up a lot of my legs, needed stitches.
While going around at the beach around the rocky areas I fell on a rock, and it made a big hole on my knee. Once again, I needed stitches.
I was jumping on my bed after doing arts and crafts (Thing I had cleaned it all up) then the kitchen scissors when through my left leg. Again needed stitches.
Whist doing some wood works in my garage I trod on a nail that went right though my foot.
